These turnkey contracts were for the upgrade of facilities at West Coast Traincare's Longsight Depot in Manchester and include the following:

• Fuelling apron for HST's on Road 37 to include fuelling, coolant and lubrication.
• Diesel fume extraction and smoke ventilation equipment covering a total of eight roads in three carriage sheds to comply with the latest fire regulations and health and safety guidelines.
• The conversion of three shallow pitted roads to deep pitted roads including the addition of emergency egress and access side pits, pit lighting and service relocation.
• The construction of a bogie handling facility for the new Virgin Pendolino's.

These turnkey contract's included all civil and construction works with D&P acting as Prime Contractor.
