Design & Projects Int Limited (D&P) specialise in the design and supply of equipment for Railway Maintenance Facilities. This includes all Depot, Workshop, Track and Overhead Catenary System (OCS) Maintenance Equipment. Whilst the company normally executes contracts on a Turnkey basis, projects can also be performed for equipment and supplier studies and the design of 'one off' specialist equipment. D&P are capable of performing Turnkey Contracts that include all Civil and Construction elements including Civil Design. The company can also provide other Engineering and Management Support in relation to Railway Maintenance Facilities.
Typical Rolling Stock and Track Maintenance Equipment supplied under turnkey contracts for Rail Depot and Workshop projects includes underfloor wheel lathes, lifting jacks, train washes, road/rail vehicles, underfloor lifting plant, re-railing equipment, bogie turntables, de-icing plant, sand filling plant, wheel presses, controlled emission toilet (CET) systems, re-fuelling systems, shore supplies and depot ventilation. These contracts have been executed on all types of railway projects including automated people movers, light rail, metros, heavy rail and high speed rail. Contracts can include all civil and construction elements. A number of studies have also been executed in relation to Railway Maintenance Facilities for new Rail Depots and Workshops and upgrades of existing Rail Workshops and Depots.
