In September 2005 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) awarded Design & Projects a turnkey contract for the supply of the depot and infrastructure maintenance equipment. The contract value amounted to the equivalent of Euros 20 million.For the Red Line there were two workshops, the main workshop at Rashidiya and a satellite workshop at Jebel Ali. Dubai Metro Green Line Depot and Infrastructure Maintenance Equipment
In May 2007 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) awarded Design & Projects a further turnkey contract for the supply of the depot and infrastructure maintenance equipment for the Green Line. The contract value amounted to the equivalent of Euros 17.2 million. For the Green Line there was one main workshop at Al Qusais. The scope of supply was the same as the main workshop for the Red Line.
