Railtrack - Selhurst Underfloor Wheel Lathe |

In October 1998 D&P were requested by Railtrack to assess the availability, suppliers capability, cost and delivery time for an Underfloor Wheel Lathe for their Maintenance Facility located at Selhurst in South London. The facility at Selhurst is currently used by the Train Operating Company Connex South East. The Study reviewed four major manufacturers and recommendations were made to Railtrack. Railtrack have subsequently placed an order for a tandem Underfloor Wheel Lathe and D&P are now contracted with Railtrack to manage the design, manufacture, installation and testing of the Tandem Lathe.
